Who is this trip for?
While Soul + Sol is a women-centered vacation, we also welcome male partners, friends, and family. It is the ideal getaway for solo travelers, couples, or groups of friends.

We invite you to bring anyone you would like to relax and indulge with under the Mexican sun—whether that is a partner, best friend, cousin, mother, or sister. This trip is designed for anyone needing time to unwind and enjoy the luxuries of a boutique beachfront hotel in one of the most beautiful areas of Mexico. It's time to embrace your soul + sol!

When should we arrive?
Our rates are based on a Wednesday (Sept. 23) or Thursday (Sept. 24) arrival. But you can stay as early or as long as you'd like. The room block is available from September 23 to 29, 2026. 

Are kids invited on the trip?
Unico is an adults-only resort -- so only those ages 18 and up can join the group. We want this to be your much needed getaway to relax and unwind with no worries about anyone but yourself. Take this time to sleep late, sleep in and relax on your own schedule.  

Why did you choose Unico?
We chose this incredible boutique hotel for its intimate atmosphere, which offers the perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. Rather than a party environment, we were looking for a serene space to listen to the ocean, indulge in excellent food and drinks, and enjoy a few quiet days. And when I tell you this area has the best sunsets, it truly is one of the most beautiful places in Mexico!

Is there a set schedule for this trip or any group activities to participate in?
We will be hosting a casual Welcome Cocktail Party on the evening of Friday, September 25th. Everyone is invited to join, though attendance is not required.

We are also planning an optional group excursion for Saturday, September 26th. We will share the specific details and costs for this outing at a later date. Additionally, the resort offers various classes and activities that you can sign up for at your leisure throughout your stay.

Our goal is for this to be a stress-free getaway, so please feel free to participate in as many or as few activities as you'd like.

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Shared shuttle transportation to and from Puerto Vallarta International Airport to the host resort is included with our group block rates. You just need to share your flight itinerary with MarieSam so she can schedule your pickup and drop off once you arrive in Mexico. If you'd like to upgrade to direct private service, just let her know!

What time can we check in and out of the resort?
Normal check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. If you arrive early, the bellman can hold your bags and you can begin enjoying the resort's amenities until your room is ready. If your flight is not until the late afternoon, the bell desk will hold your bags and you can continue to enjoy the resort until your shuttle pick up. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, insect repellent, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach chic attire for dinners during your stay.

How do payments work when there are multiple people sharing a room?
When multiple guests are staying in a room together, they will all be listed on the invoice and each person can submit their payment for their share. If the 2nd, 3rd or 4th person drops out, then  the room rate would be adjusted for the updated occupancy and the remaining occupant(s) would have to pay for that difference.
